The WILD Foundation

The WILD Foundation is bringing people together to defend large-scale wilderness. The next 30 years are critical for life on Earth. Either we will find a way to coexist with the 8 million other species we share this planet with, or we will lose more than half of the rich and irreplaceable biological inheritance our singular home has bestowed upon us. The WILD Foundation is on the leading edge of an effort to protect half of Earth's wild places by 2050 and end the biodiversity crisis before it is too late. To kick off this effort we are building regional coalitions, starting in India where, in 2018, we are pulling together hundreds of stakeholders to unite existing conservation efforts into a coordinated plan to demonstrate that it is possible to protect half the planet, one country and region at a time.
