When you contribute to the Cortez Cultural Center and Hawkins Preserve, you are enhancing the lives of both locals and visitors from around the world. Our programs increase cultural understanding, promote the arts, and educate participants about history, diversity, and the natural environment.
Important note regarding The Cortez Cultural Center's Additional Colorado State Tax Credit(s): Donations of $150 or more qualify for Colorado Enterprise Zone state income tax credits worth 25% of the cash value of the donation. Find out more at https://choosecolorado.com/doing-business/incentives-financing/ez/.
Third-party vendors charge credit card and electronic check processing fees when you make an online donation. Two percent of each donation helps to cover these fees and ensures the program's long-term sustainability. The two percent processing fee is one of the lowest processing fees in the country.
You will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgement letter and an e-mailed copy for your donation. Every donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent permitted by law. If you make a donation to a charity that offers Child Care or Enterprise Zone credits (additional Colorado state tax credits), Community First Foundation will acknowledge that your donation was processed successfully, but the charity will issue you an additional receipt pursuant to that. To learn more about these tax credits, contact the specific nonprofits.
Thank you for Donating through ColoradoGives.org: ColoradoGives.org partners with local nonprofits to facilitate online giving. Nonprofits trust us to process their online donations because of our low processing fees, security and other great things. We do this because we're a nonprofit, too!
