Your gift will help identify and support families with young children who are blind or visually impaired. A Shared Vision is the leading, and in some regions, the ONLY provider of early intervention vision services in Colorado. All gifts qualify for a 50% Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit
Important note regarding A Shared Vision: Partners in Pediatric Blindness and Visual Impairment's Additional Colorado State Tax Credit(s): Colorado taxpayers who contribute to A Shared Vision may claim an income tax credit of 50% of the total qualifying monetary contribution. Qualifying contributions made during a tax year is limited to $100,000.
Third-party vendors charge credit card and electronic check processing fees when you make an online donation. Two percent of each donation helps to cover these fees and ensures the program's long-term sustainability. The two percent processing fee is one of the lowest processing fees in the country.
You will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgement letter and an e-mailed copy for your donation. Every donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent permitted by law. If you make a donation to a charity that offers Child Care or Enterprise Zone credits (additional Colorado state tax credits), Community First Foundation will acknowledge that your donation was processed successfully, but the charity will issue you an additional receipt pursuant to that. To learn more about these tax credits, contact the specific nonprofits.
Thank you for Donating through ColoradoGives.org: ColoradoGives.org partners with local nonprofits to facilitate online giving. Nonprofits trust us to process their online donations because of our low processing fees, security and other great things. We do this because we're a nonprofit, too!
