MahlerFest has been a part of the artistic life of the Boulder and Denver area for 30 years and we're planning our 31st annual concert in Boulder, with our Artistic Director, Kenneth Woods! We are planning to make this our most ambitious festival to date - with related performances of music by George Crumb, former music professor and composer at CU-Boulder, to celebrate and build upon the tradition established by founder and Artistic Director Emeritus, Robert Olson. This is a special year; we are well into the tenure of Artistic Director Kenneth Woods, and and under his leadership we are broadening our goals in hopes to involve more young people, through more comprehensive school interactions, and academic, social, and artistic activities, as our identity evolves to keep pace with the community.
Third-party vendors charge credit card and electronic check processing fees when you make an online donation. Two percent of each donation helps to cover these fees and ensures the program's long-term sustainability. The two percent processing fee is one of the lowest processing fees in the country.
You will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgement letter and an e-mailed copy for your donation. Every donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent permitted by law. If you make a donation to a charity that offers Child Care or Enterprise Zone credits (additional Colorado state tax credits), Community First Foundation will acknowledge that your donation was processed successfully, but the charity will issue you an additional receipt pursuant to that. To learn more about these tax credits, contact the specific nonprofits.
Thank you for Donating through ColoradoGives.org: ColoradoGives.org partners with local nonprofits to facilitate online giving. Nonprofits trust us to process their online donations because of our low processing fees, security and other great things. We do this because we're a nonprofit, too!
