Wilderness on Wheels provides hiking, camping and fishing in a beautiful Colorado setting for people with disabilities, their families and caregivers. Over the past 30 years disabled anglers have enjoyed free fishing in our stocked trout pond. However, as a naturally-fed pond, sediment has been accumulating and is now severely affecting the enjoyment of our visitors. We are asking Colorado Gives Donors to support our capital campaign to remove the sediment build up and bring back our beautiful pond! Our capital goal to support this work is $30,000. We appreciate your support on behalf of all of the families who depend on WOW for access to nature.
Third-party vendors charge credit card and electronic check processing fees when you make an online donation. Two percent of each donation helps to cover these fees and ensures the program's long-term sustainability. The two percent processing fee is one of the lowest processing fees in the country.
You will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgement letter and an e-mailed copy for your donation. Every donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent permitted by law. If you make a donation to a charity that offers Child Care or Enterprise Zone credits (additional Colorado state tax credits), Community First Foundation will acknowledge that your donation was processed successfully, but the charity will issue you an additional receipt pursuant to that. To learn more about these tax credits, contact the specific nonprofits.
Thank you for Donating through ColoradoGives.org: ColoradoGives.org partners with local nonprofits to facilitate online giving. Nonprofits trust us to process their online donations because of our low processing fees, security and other great things. We do this because we're a nonprofit, too!
