Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado matches youth (Littles) from low-income, single-parent homes with volunteer mentors (Bigs) and serves them up to the age of 18. Your gift to support the power of one-to-one mentoring will defend potential in young people and change their lives forever.
Important note regarding Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado's Additional Colorado State Tax Credit(s): Donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado may qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution. You can earn up to a 50% state income tax credit by supporting the proven power of one-to-one mentoring whether you itemize or take a standard deduction. Please consult your personal tax adviser for details.
Third-party vendors charge credit card and electronic check processing fees when you make an online donation. Two percent of each donation helps to cover these fees and ensures the program's long-term sustainability. The two percent processing fee is one of the lowest processing fees in the country.
You will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgement letter and an e-mailed copy for your donation. Every donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent permitted by law. If you make a donation to a charity that offers Child Care or Enterprise Zone credits (additional Colorado state tax credits), Community First Foundation will acknowledge that your donation was processed successfully, but the charity will issue you an additional receipt pursuant to that. To learn more about these tax credits, contact the specific nonprofits.
Thank you for Donating through ColoradoGives.org: ColoradoGives.org partners with local nonprofits to facilitate online giving. Nonprofits trust us to process their online donations because of our low processing fees, security and other great things. We do this because we're a nonprofit, too!
