ColoradoGives.org is turning 10, but Community First Foundation, the community foundation that brings you this website, is giving you the present! In August we are launching a new and improved ColoradoGives.org.
The new site will continue to provide comprehensive, objective and up-to-date information about Colorado nonprofits. But it will now feature fresh photos and graphics, improved functionality and donor-inspired navigation.
The new site includes:
When we talk about the do-ers, we're talking about the nonprofit organizations that enrich Colorado's communities. Did you know we recognize more than twenty categories of nonprofits, from health care to the arts, on ColoradoGives.org?
Community First Foundation created ColoradoGives.org 10 years ago to:
"What started as a small way for Community First Foundation to help promote giving across our state is now a vital resource for more than 2,000 nonprofits that reside within our borders." -Bill Winn, Board President, Friends of the Haven
The message "Give where you live" resonates with more than 273,000 donors like you who have given through ColoradoGives.org since 2007. We use this message to get people thinking about their communities and what they love about them.
Whether it's your local hiking trail, animal shelter or youth club, we know there's something in your community that's deeply valuable to you. Local nonprofits are an essential part of making your community a place you're proud to call home.
From June 12-June 16 we asked donors like you to tell us why they love where they live on our Facebook page. Five lucky contest participants won a $50 Giving eCard to donate to any nonprofit profiled on ColoradoGives.org.
Thank you for supporting local nonprofits on ColoradoGives.org. We're going to make giving local even more fun this August with the new and improved ColoradoGives.org website!
We are celebrating 10 years of powering people like YOU to support their favorite causes on ColoradoGives.org. Whether you've donated on Colorado Gives Day, started a fundraising page or set up recurring donations, your generosity has been powering local nonprofits for more than a decade.
Did you know you can create a ripple effect of giving through Giving eCards? Email these virtual cards to a friend, child or colleague with a dollar amount starting at $10. You claim the tax deduction while the recipient can use the card to donate to any organization profiled on ColoradoGives.org.
With the new ColoradoGives.org website this August, we want to help you help nonprofits. With enhanced features and design, we're making it even easier for you to do what you do best: make Colorado a better place to live.
They say old habits die hard. On ColoradoGives.org, that's a great thing. Many donors come back again, and again, and again to support the nonprofits they love.
But with our recurring donation feature you needn't rely on your memory to come back. In one step you can set up your donations to take place automatically. Choose a weekly, monthly, quarterly or other interval that works for you. When you set up recurring donations, it's a win-win: it spreads out costs for you as a donor and nonprofits know they can rely on your support.
This August we will be improving the connection between the givers and the do-ers with our brand new website! Enhanced site functionality and design will make it easier than ever to support the nonprofits that are making our communities stronger.
Summer charity work just got a whole lot more fun for your family! Community First Foundation launched KidsforColoradoGives.org, the companion site to ColoradoGives.org, to connect the next generation of Colorado givers with local nonprofit organizations.
At KidsforColoradoGives.org, young donors can experience the joy of giving in a fun, safe environment. The website features videos of kids teaching kids about what a nonprofit is and why they need our help. From daughters and grandsons to neighbors and nephews, KidsforColoradoGives.org is redefining what charitable giving looks like for families across the state.
"I had no idea there were so many charities here in Colorado! I had a lot of fun learning," - Nine-year-old Jenna Audlin, who donated through KidsforColoradoGives.org with her classmates last winter
This August, KidsforColoradoGives.org is getting a makeover, too! The new ColoradoGives.org and KidsforColoradoGives.org websites will make donating to charities as a family easier and more fun than ever!
