With your support, we can help shape resilient kids who are confronting past trauma find the tools and strategies they need to cope with challenges in order to lead healthy and productive lives. Your gift ensures that these children have access to the therapy, education and care they need to thrive.
Important note regarding Denver Children's Home's Additional Colorado State Tax Credit(s): Gifts to support the Residential Program at Denver Children's Home qualify for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit Program. This program allows taxpayers who make a monetary contribution to promote child care in Colorado claim a state of Colorado income tax credit of 50% of the total contribution. Eligible donors will receive a Child Care Contribution Tax Credit Certification (DR 1317) with their gift acknowledgment.
Third-party vendors charge credit card and electronic check processing fees when you make an online donation. Two percent of each donation helps to cover these fees and ensures the program's long-term sustainability. The two percent processing fee is one of the lowest processing fees in the country.
You will automatically receive an on-screen acknowledgement letter and an e-mailed copy for your donation. Every donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent permitted by law. If you make a donation to a charity that offers Child Care or Enterprise Zone credits (additional Colorado state tax credits), Community First Foundation will acknowledge that your donation was processed successfully, but the charity will issue you an additional receipt pursuant to that. To learn more about these tax credits, contact the specific nonprofits.
Thank you for Donating through ColoradoGives.org: ColoradoGives.org partners with local nonprofits to facilitate online giving. Nonprofits trust us to process their online donations because of our low processing fees, security and other great things. We do this because we're a nonprofit, too!
