Celebrating DeeDee: 20 Years of Friendship in Arvada
It is with a heavy heart, but also so much gratitude, that we share the news that we said goodbye to DeeDee this morning.
For over 20 years, DeeDee was the heartbeat of our store. She was a quiet supervisor, a constant companion, and a friend to everyone who walked through our doors. She never met a stranger—if you had a hand free for a pet, she was there. She was famous for holding court in "her chair," supervising the daily operations, and leaning in for a good ear scratch from anyone willing to give one.
She watched our staff grow, she watched our customers' families grow, and she made our shop feel like a home.
Honoring Her Journey
DeeDee came to us more than 20 years ago from Almost Home, a wonderful local rescue organization. They trusted us with her, and in doing so, they gave us two decades of joy.
We can think of no better way to say "thank you" for her life than to help Almost Home continue their incredible work.
