Full Day Kindergarten Scholarships

Beneficiaries

Children and Youth (infants - 19 years.)
Children Only (5 - 14 years)
Poor/Economically Disadvantaged

Description

Each year, the Free Horizon Montessori Foundation allocates funds to be awarded to students enrolling at Free Horizon Montessori for full-day kindergarten. Scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated need as reflected on federal and state income tax returns provided to the scholarship committee. The scholarship committee blindly evaluates applications based solely on financial need without knowing the names of students or families receiving such aid. The scholarships are managed by the school's financial office in order to maintain privacy of families.

Beneficiaries

Children and Youth (infants - 19 years.)
Poor/Economically Disadvantaged

Description

The Free Horizon Montessori Foundation provides financial support for Free Horizon Montessori's Free and Reduced Lunch program, as state and federal reimbursements that the school receives for Free and Reduced Lunch-eligible students do not make up the difference of the school's actual costs for the lunch program.
