Evidence of Program's Success

The evidence of the programs success are the fabulous programs presented to our public. Denver has an enthusiastic support for the Spanish arts, it would be great to see more exposure and opportunity for the involvement and education of the Spanish and the Flamenco arts.

The Spanish arts in Colorado are one of the root cultures of our state but, because it does not have a natural cultural event such as Cinco de Mayo (May 5th), it is necessary to promote activity through the presenting organization. It is imperative that the supporters in community show their interest and support the Spanish programming for public presentation in Colorado.

It is important that the people of Colorado recognize the devoted artists of our own community and present are local and their work on most prestigious stages here in Denver.

Fiesta Colorado would like your support for our continued success!

Evidence of Program's Success

It is an honor to teach and share the culture with everyone who would like to learn about culture. Many students are children of parents who danced as children themselves as well. This shows evidence that the culture is being passed down from one generation to the next. The program is truly a family bonding experience for the parents and their children.

Many dancers have become life-time dancers of Fiesta Colorado and many have gone on to professional careers. There is much evidence of long term success from the many great dancers who have been trained, right here in Denver. Just recently, a student of the school and dancer of the Fiesta Colorado Dance Company, Jose Rosales, became a member of the world renowned Ballet Folklorico de Mexico. WOW! This is what it is all about! Jose is only one of the few success stories to come from the dance program. We have Broncos Cheerleaders, Fiesta Queens, State Representatives and Successful Teachers, Working Professionals and... of course...
Fabulous Dancers!

The Fiesta program has many years of stability and success.
Our desire is to continue these experiences for the next generation.

Description

These programs goes into the public schools and teaches dance to students who may not have the opportunity to learn and experience dance outside of the regular school day. The project ranges from an introduction to dance ,in an assembly, to a long term residency, with a hands-on, learning experience of dance with a community performance at the finale of the program. This is a wonderful educational outreach program that involves the family and community.

This is the last year to provided this program to the many schools in Denver and the surrounding counties. Some programs are full day -time school programs and some are after-school programs.

It is very important, at this time, to encourage organizations and schools to support and collaborate with Fiesta Colorado for continuance and success of this program.

Thousands of children have already learned dance through this program. Target would like to see the program find a long term program, as a spin off, from their five year support in Denver. We are looking for interested collaborators and the financial support for the this program to be successful in the future. It is very important for the young student, who would like to continue dance in their life, to have the opportunity.

The Fiesta Colorado outreach Program is an educational outreach program that can be a specific request for your support. The new program is in planning stages. It is open for great options and ideas. Fiesta Colorado and Target would like for your organization to show your support for this educational outreach program in your school and community.

Evidence of Program's Success

Evidence of success is in the final evaluation of the program. It is ti see where each student began with the program and, where they finish. The accomplishment of new physical skills and the pride in the final performance reveals the happy reactions in the students, the teachers and the family members. It is the hope to benefit the community as a whole and to build confidence for success in life!
