CSO Independence Eve Concert

Food for Thought Denver is working to eliminate weekend childhood hunger in the Denver Metro area. We are a 100% volunteer organization and all public donations strictly go towards program expenses. There are more than 56,000 children in the Metro area who face food insecurity every weekend. Food for Thought Denver provides a PowerSack containing enough food to make 8 meals every Friday to more than 17,000 students.

Food for Thought stepped up to community needs during the COVID crisis. We increased our reach from 13,000 students to 17,000 students in a matter of one week. We worked with the local school districts to make sure even though schools were closed, food was reaching to students that needed it - all while practicing social distancing for our volunteers.
