Through our sponsored client program, we provide free or reduced cost meals to eligible clients (as determined by income level). We seek to improve nutritional status for the northern Colorado community and want to serve all homebound clients in need of our meal delivery.
For the year ended March 2018, our number of sponsored clients increased by 18%, the number of sponsored meals increased by 28%, and our cost increased by 50%. We have been able to meet this increased need while maintaining the same level of financial solvency due to increased grant funding and private donations.

Meals on Wheels primary service is to provide homebound seniors and/or disabled persons with a hot and nutritious noontime meal home delivered to their homes Monday through Friday. All of our clients receive a volunteer visit with their meal deliveries. During these visits, Meals on Wheels' volunteer drivers provide a client well-being check to ensure clients safety.
We served 473 clients and delivered 51,692 meals in the 2017. One of the strongest indicators that we are meeting the demand for services in the community is that we do not have a waiting list for our program. We also have a very dedicated volunteer base with many who have volunteered with our organization for over ten years.
