Mission Statement

The mission of Every Child Pediatrics is to provides affordable, accessible, high-quality health care and support services to Colorado children, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

Every Child Pediatrics serve over 24,000 Colorado children each year at four stand-alone medical offices and 8 school-based health centers in the Denver Metro area, Fort Collins and Southwest Colorado. Our experienced professionals focus on the child's overall well-being, providing high-quality medical care, behavioral health counseling, dental care, nutrition, healthy lifestyle programs and connections to support services such as housing and transportation.

Organization History

Every Child Pediatrics was established in 1996 under the name Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics by Dr. Larry Wolk, a Denver pediatrician who recognized a gap in the Colorado healthcare system that left many children without access to healthcare. Our mission is to provide accessible, affordable, high-quality health care and support programs to infants, children, and youth across Colorado regardless of their insurance status or family's ability to pay. We have grown from a single office that provided approximately 2,000 patient visits a year to the largest pediatric practice in Colorado, with 12 medical offices that serve more than 24,000 patients a year. Our dedicated and experienced pediatricians and professionals follow the patient-centered medical home approach to care, providing a personalized, welcoming and culturally-responsive environment for children and families of all backgrounds. Our patients live in over 300 zip codes in Colorado, and some travel from other states to receive care from our medical providers. More than 85% of the children we serve live in low-income households. Every year, we provide at least $800,000 in free care to families who are uninsured or unable to afford health care services. We provide medical, dental, and behavioral health care, nutrition and fitness education, emergency and supplemental food, early literacy and school readiness support, and linkages to community resources for other basic needs such as housing, transportation, food, and clothing. In June 2018, the organization became Every Child Pediatrics and opened a new medical office in Lakewood.

Jenny Seppelt credits the doctors at Every Child Pediatrics for identifying her daughter's grave health issues when she was an infant and saving her life.

"It's a 45-minute drive but it's worth it to me because I trust them. They care. They know my kids. I think they care about my kids just as much as I do, to be honest with you."
