Who Is 3Hopeful Hearts?

3Hopeful Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Fort Collins, CO that provides grief-informed support to empower and equip those impacted by the death of a baby or child of any age, while increasing grief literacy in our larger community.

We envision a world where everyone experiencing grief and loss has access to the community support they need. 3Hopeful Hearts provides no cost services to the bereaved families across Northern Colorado. 

What Does My Gift Support?

Your gift to 3Hopeful Hearts supports no-cost grief companionship and support to families after the loss of a child of any age and cause.  

$25 - Cost of one grief journal for students to explore healthy ways to cope with grief

$50 - Cost to respond to one person after we're notified of a loss

$75 - Cost of a bear in our Bear2Hope program, which provides a bear to a family that is the exact weight of a baby gone too soon

$100 - Cost of 1 Grief Listening Session for families to process and heal

The Power of Community

If 3 people donate $25, it covers the cost of 1 Bear in our Bear2Hope Program

The Bear2Hope program was created to better support families who have experienced the tragic loss of their precious baby. The purpose of these bears is to create a physical memento of their baby that can help a family in their grieving process. When 3Hopeful Hearts is notified of a baby loss, a volunteer creates a bear to match the exact weight of the baby. The bear is then delivered to the family at the hospital before the family is discharged in hopes of bridging the gap between delivery and going home. The family is able to hold the bear while grieving and honoring their precious baby.

If 5 people donate $20, it covers the cost of one Grief Listening Session 

Our Grief Listening Sessions  help families with identifying support, healthy coping strategies, normalizing grief responses, and finding continuing connection and meaning. 

If 5 people donate $100, it covers the cost of a child attending camp with peers who have also experienced loss

Campers will have the opportunity to share feelings and memories with other children who have experienced a similar loss, and leave with a renewed sense of self and coping skills that will help them manage grief in everyday life.

June 10th-June 14th, 2024 is the 3Hopeful Hearts Week of Giving, a week where our community can come together to spread awareness about grief, learn more about 3Hopeful Hearts’ mission, and give back to grieving parents and families across Northern Colorado.
