Join us in sharing Rebecoming Me with the world!
“We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say it’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem. Then, there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.” -Fred Rogers
For the past year, Cobbled Streets collaborated with the team at Better Together Productions to create a short film, Rebecoming Me. The film depicts the lived experience of five individuals who navigated parts of their childhood within the foster care system. This raw and honest documentary digs into the wins, the failures, and the opportunities we all have to be a better community in support of children in foster care. It shares the real stories that will spark meaningful conversations about how we can all play a role in creating positive change for our community and the foster care system in Colorado.
We launched Rebecoming Me on January 17th in partnership with PBS12 and the Common Sense Institute. WE INVITE YOU TO WATCH THE FULL 30-MINUTE FILM STREAMING ON PBS12 HERE. Below is a 3-minute preview.
After watching Rebecoming Me, we hope that you will join us in creating meaningful impact in our community by utilizing the power of your TIME and RESOURCES. We need people like you to see the need and respond. A donation from you helps Cobbled Streets:
