$17,000 Goal
The Evergreen Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit organization dedicated to putting on superb classical music performances in our local Evergreen and Foothills communities. We are an all-volunteer group of talented musicians from across the Front Range and Denver Metro area, and we perform a variety of classical music from different periods and styles.
Our mission is to share the joy of live music in an intimate setting with a diverse community of musicians and music lovers. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of live classical music, and we are committed to making our concerts affordable and accessible to all.
ECO is aiming to raise $25,000 to close what has been a truly spectacular 2022-2023 Season. This season has had it all - the great masterworks of Haydn, Beethoven, and more, world-premiere performances of new compositions by ECO Music Director William Hill, an incredibly successful Young Artists Solo Competition, and world-class soloists like Stephanie Cheng and Basil Vendryes.
For our end-of-season fundraising campaign Heart for the Arts, we'll be having a bit of friendly competition. The top ten donors (and a plus-one) will be invited to a private recital and party featuring pianist Stephanie Cheng, ECO Music Director William Hill, and other ECO musicians!
If you create your own fundraising page by clicking "Join This Event" above, the total amount raised through your page will be counted towards your leaderboard score in addition to your own donation. Learn more below!
While we are an all-volunteer group, ECO still incurs considerable costs throughout the season. Over the past five years, ECO's audiences have increased - but so have our expenses, which are now around $100k per season. Revenue from ticket sales covers roughly half of our expenses each season - so we rely heavily on the support of donors like you to make each concert possible! Your gift helps us cover the costs of our concerts, rehearsals, and sheet music. ECO spends nearly $3,500 each season on sheet music alone!
In recent years, our Music Director William Hill has increasingly brought in superstar-level soloists to perform with ECO - incredible artists like Steinway Artists Stephanie Cheng and Katie Mahan, CSO principal violist Basil Vendryes, and CSO concertmaster Yumi Hwang-Williams. Your donation will help ECO continue to invest in bringing truly world-class talent to Evergreen and the front range!
Your donation will support ECO's continued efforts to identify and elevate outstanding young musical talent in our communities with our Young Artists Solo Competition. Our most recent first-prize winner, Alex King, is an exceptional pianist with a bright future ahead of him! We are getting ready to announce the fourth edition of this wonderful competition for the 2023-2024 Season - be on the lookout for more information soon.
Your donation also supports ECO's ongoing investments in technology to support our mission - all of ECO's concerts, recitals, and special events are live-streamed, and we plan to expand to a multi-camera streaming setup with higher production value in the 2023-2024 Season.
Finally - and of special importance to us - your donation helps keep ticket prices affordable for all music lovers.
As a thank-you for your generous donation, we will be inviting the top 10 donors and their guest to a private recital. This exclusive event will take place at a beautiful private home in Evergreen, and you will have the opportunity to hear the musicians perform up close in an intimate setting.
Featured performers include Steinway Artist Stephanie Cheng and ECO Music Director William Hill - other ECO musicians and friends will perform as well!
This promises to be a delightful evening with excellent music, hors d'oeuvres, fine wine, and the opportunity to chat with the performers.
This year, we've made it easy to create your own fundraising campaign on behalf of ECO. Simply click "Join This Event" at the top of the page, and you'll be able to create and share your own personal fundraising page. It's that simple! Our fundraising page template has pictures and a brief paragraph you can use - you can also add your own pictures and a story about why ECO is important to you.
It's super easy to share your fundraising page via email or any of your preferred social media channels, like Facebook and Twitter.
Any donations made through your personal fundraising page will count towards your "leaderboard score", listed at the top of this page. Engage your friends and family to help support ECO, and make your way to the top of the leaderboard!
Your gift of any amount will make a difference.
Please donate today and help us continue to bring the joy of music to our community.
Thank you for your support!
