Children in foster care move from home to home, living with strangers, leaving behind everything familiar—friends, teachers, siblings, and even pets. There’s rarely time to settle in, let alone to build lasting trust. This constant disruption in the most formative years of childhood leads to isolation, instability, and trauma.
And here’s the tragic truth:
💔 53% of foster youth will leave care without a single enduring relationship.
🎓 Only 1 in 4 will graduate from high school on time.
Why? Because the system doesn't prioritize connection while it still has time.
At Cobbled Streets, we believe in going upstream—reaching kids before they reach the edge of the system.
We focus on the kids “in the middle.”
Not just those entering foster care.

In honor of National Foster Care Month, we’re raising $25,000 to fund life-changing experiences for kids in foster care—experiences that help kids discover new passions, spark joy, and feel like they matter.
From playing on a soccer team, to attending art or music camp, to learning golf through our partnership with First Tee—these are not just “nice extras.” These are essential building blocks for healing and growth.
