Founded in 2014, emBOLDen Alliances (eA) has already had a transformational impact in both Global Health and Humanitarian Assistance!
eA strengthens local actors' important - and often lifesaving - work by providing tailored tools and experienced support on everything, from budgets to Monitoring and Evaluation, to help our partners maximize positive impact in their own communities.
We have seen success with >40 partners in 15 countries, ranging from a student group in the U.S. to a locally-based organization serving forgotten HIV-affected communities in Uganda, leading a robust local response to the 2015 earthquakes in Nepal, and helping a multimillion dollar hospital group revamp its short-term medical missions to better align with community vision.
We have won five global innovation awards to date, including being among the Finalists for the Top 100 Innovators at the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit.
Through our proven methodology, eA is boosting the efficacy of every investment made in community-based organizations, maximizing resources, and improving the quality of life WITH vulnerable communities globally.
Founding Director, Dr. Neena Jain, has worked in Global Health and Humanitarian Assistance hands-on with vulnerable communities for more than two decades. During this time, she contributed to a wide variety of critical contexts in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, as Program Manager, Country Medical Director, Health Sector Lead, and Technical Advisor with international non-governmental organizations, large and small, and with the World Health Organization. Drawing on valuable lessons learned, skills, expertise, and experiences, she formed emBOLDen Alliances to maximize communities' own resources, achieve their visions of better, and create impacts that endure.nerable communities globally.
"After working with eA, we are STRONGER as an organization & we serve our beneficiaries BETTER…"
"Last night, I left class feeling as though I had finally found where Global Health, Systems Management, & Policy intersect.
I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to finally find where I belong in the Public Health community."
Nepal Humanitarian Response:
"[We are] personally proud & thankful to eA for successfully leading us during the Post-Earthquake First Aid Training Program & encouraging us to carry out the program in the long run with a better & sustainable approach on our own lead.
Truly, the value that eA carries on assisting partner organizations like ours to achieve their local mission is highly praiseworthy."
