Cobiz Insurance and Cobiz Financial will be hiking in Griffith Centers for Children Chins Up's Peak Challenge on August 13th! Their mountain of choice is Mt. Bierstadt which is one of the most popular 14ers in Colorado at the elevation of 14,065 feet. Peak Challenge leaders Dan and Rebecca Foster will lead the group through an easy start before the elevation kicks in. A big thanks goes out to Cobiz Insurance and Cobiz Financial for their continuing support through Board involvement and events this summer!

Why hike for Peak Challenge? We hike for children who have suffered abuse and neglect. Two girls, ages 6 months and 2 years old, suffered from medical neglect and abuse by their mom's boyfriend. They were removed from their home and taken to the hospital to be cared for until a foster home was available. They are now healed, healthy, and the oldest is starting Kindergarten this fall!
