Description

Since its inception in 2005, Chamber Music Society of Greater Denver (CMSGD) has raised awareness and appreciation of chamber music through annual series of concerts that spotlight the depth and diversity of compositions for small chamber ensembles.

Programs feature both contemporary and traditional compositions that celebrate the depth of repertoire written for chamber groups. Concerts are presented at local venues in the SCFD region; the 2021-22 season launches in October with the first of three performances at the Wildcat Mountain Auditorium in Highlands Ranch.

As part of its comprehensive arts-integration program, the CMSGD chamber ensemble also holds in-school performances. In recent years, the ensemble has given concerts in Denver, Jefferson County and St. Vrain Valley schools, as well as performed for students in Brazil and England.
