Community Cellular Connection

In the wake of Covid, The Reciprocity Team realized that those they serve had lost even the most basic access to medicine, services, safety because as the world shut down, it shut them out. What we take for granted can literally be a life-altering device for people facing homelessness. In partnership with T-Mobile, TRC has a goal of distributing 500 cell phones with six months of data. For a donation of just $175, you can reconnect a person we serve to the world.

Just imagine life without a cell phone! Imagine how isolated you would feel. In today's world of smart phones, a cell phone is a basic human need - an unmet need for many of those in the homeless community. While the program is in it's infancy, it is already making a huge difference in the lives of those who have received a phone; they are reaching out and connecting with community resources and seeking additional support. Hopefully this will help some of these people find ongoing employment, regain their sense of purpose and inclusion in society.
