Colorado Anti-Violence Program Roots Campaign: Giving Together, Building Power

..LOVE.TRANSFORM.TOGETHER..

We are inviting you to join the Colorado Anti-Violence Program's ROOTS GIVING CAMPAIGN: GIVING TOGETHER, BUILDING POWER. With your generous support, you can help us meet our goal of raising $12,000 by April 26th!

Your donation goes directly to support the work of building safety and justice in LGBTQ communities in Colorado - from keeping the lights on in our office, to ensuring our statewide hotline for survivors of violence is available, to providing food for our youth organizing meetings. You make this work possible.

The Colorado Anti-Violence Program envisions a Colorado where transgender, gender non-conforming, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer people have the power to determine the conditions of their lives, are valued for who they are, take responsibility for each other's safety, and live their lives free from violence. VISIT WWW.COAVP.ORG to learn more or get involved.

NO GIFT IS TOO SMALL! Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. You may also send a check to: CAVP, PO Box 181085, Denver, CO 80218 (Be sure to put "campaign" and the CAVP supporter that asked you to give in the memo section) All donations are tax deductible.

If you believe in Colorado Anti-Violence Program's work, BECOME A CAVP MONTHLY SUSTAINER today! We want to continue to increase community-ownership which means we need to build a stronger base of individual donors like you, to whom we are accountable. Your financial support is invaluable in making Colorado safer for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people.

PERKS FOR GIVING
Donors who sign up to give monthly or give $50 or more as a one time gift will receive a FREE DVD of "RAINBOW WARRIORS," the latest film project of Branching Seedz of Resistance. The film, to be released in April, was created by and for young queer and Two Spirit people of color to portray the resiliency our community experiences in response to the emotional and physical effects of suicide.

BY DONATING TODAY, YOU JOIN A MOVEMENT and ensure that the Colorado Anti-Violence Program is able to continue to build safety and justice for Colorado's LGBTQ communities. Your support helps us strengthen our base of LGBTQ youth leaders working to build community power to break cycles of violence affecting LGBTQ young people.
