BeyondHome's COVID-19 Response
We are living through a once in a lifetime health crisis. We will get through this best by looking out for each other.
Here are some current and expected challenges and ways in which you can help.
FOOD: Most of our food bank supplies come from the extras at Safeway. There are not many "extras" right now. Donations of food or money can help us bridge the gap.
RENT: Rent from our residents comprise about 1/3 of our annual income. As our families are off work, they will not be able to pay rent. Covering one family's rent for a month or throughout the COVID-19 scare would help us continue to serve our families without having to make cuts in staff or services.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We are the financial safety net for our families. If they can't pay their car insurance or utilities, we are the ones they turn to for help. Many, if not all, of our families will need help in this way during this trying time. Contributing to our General Operating Fund will give us the resources needed to help more families pay their bills.
