Benefits in Action
by Colorado Nonprofit Development Center
Fundraiser launched on October 28, 2021 by Benefits in Action
With your support of time and money, Benefits in Action can impact the lives of more individuals in need, especially older adults and the underserved, many of whom are still recovering from over a year in a public health emergency.

Our team of compassionate staff and volunteers at Benefits in Action can be the lifeline to family, friends, and neighbors in need. Some the essential services we provide include:

Helping people understand and apply for Medicare, Medicaid, Connect for Health • Colorado, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
• Giving unbiased recommendations and guidance around signing up for Medicare for those turning 65
• Delivering boxes of fresh and non-perishable food to those who are homebound or struggling to put food on the table
• Supporting mental wellness through our Connectedness program, in which individuals can join one of our support groups or receive weekly phone calls from one of our caring volunteers

Our mission is powered by many selfless volunteers who assist with everything from food boxing and delivery to making phone calls and helping individuals navigate their benefits. To learn more about volunteering with us, visit www.benefitsinaction.org/volunteers.

If you prefer to give via check, please address to "CNDC dba Benefits in Action" and mail to PO Box 140598, Edgewater, CO 80214.

Thank you to our donors, volunteers, and partners who make it possible for us to support the health, wellness, and food security our neighbors.

We are grateful for you!
