In partnership with Dylan's Down with the Arts (DDWA), the Aurora Singers will write, produce and perform in the spring of 2021, an original musical dinner mystery theatre production for the youth, young adults and adults with Down's Syndrome and other disabilities that are served by DDWA.
Aurora Singers has a long history of inclusion especially for performers with disabilities, modifying choreography and any other elements of the performances necessary to allow those who are differently abled to be actively involved. Therefore, developing a program specifically for young performing artists with disabilities is a natural step in the organization's evolution.
This new program of the Aurora Singers will provide young people - youth through adults - with disabilities an opportunity to not only be entertained but engaged in a mystery dinner theatre written especially for them. A talk back at the end will provide a chance for audience and performers to connect on a deep level while advancing the aspiring young artists knowledge of musical theatre.

The Aurora Singers perform four shows per season. Each show has two performances - a Saturday evening and Sunday matinee for those who do not drive at night. This season's performances are:
Decades of Fun Sept 26,27
There is no better way to kick off the season than a musical romp through decades of great songs. With so many, we guarantee that you'll have fun, fun, fun. 'Til her daddy takes her T-Bird away? Maybe. Join us and find out! Celebrating Decades of Fun through song and dance would not be authentic if we didn't jump feet first in the 2020s.
To avoid compromising anyone's health, comfort or sense of well-being, the Aurora Singers have made the decision to NOT offer a public performance of our September show. We will miss seeing each and every one of you in person but look forward to you joining us online.
Let it Snow Dec 12,13
It's simply impossible to celebrate the winter holidays without the Aurora Singers! Join us for a holly jolly, over the top, musical cornucopia. Baby, it may be cold outside but we don't care. Bundle up the entire family and meet us at our new venue, Heather Gardens*, for a holiday romp with plenty of favorite songs to sing along with.
* We're hoping, along with everyone in the world, for favorable health and safety conditions for a live performance come December. However, we do have a backup plan, should that not be the case. Do not fret, we'll let you know in plenty of time if we're going to Plan B.
Take Me Out to the Ball Game Mar 13,14
Baseball season is just around the corner and with the Aurora Singers - the ultimate Double Header. Join us as we pay tribute to America's Pastime. There will be no cheap seats or flat beer for our fans just songs that will have you cheering in the stands because we're going to hit it deep.
The Best of Broadway May 15,16
There's no place on earth like Broadway and the Aurora Singers are bringing the BEST of the best to you for our season finale. The influence of Broadway musicals on contemporary culture has been enormous so we are faced with no small task selecting the BEST. But we've got the chops for it, so come on along, you Broadway Babies. Information will be available on our website regarding the Parker performance.
Smiling, happy faces lighting up as we present our show! Growing our stable audience numbers at each performance.
COMMENTS (by Executive Director) - The Aurora Singers strive to create a musical outlet for community members. The group carefully tracks the success of reaching as many Aurora citizens as possible, and is constantly working on forging a greater bond with the community.

The Aurora Singers perform at many locations around the area. The Singers have performed for The Botanic Gardens in Denver and the Colorado Rockies. An additional performance in 2018 for the 95th birthday of a patron was fun for the Singers. If a corporation or an individual party needs music for their program, we provide it at a very nominal fee.
These performance locations vary widely in the large city of Aurora. Through these performances we reach even greater numbers of people who love music as much as we do.

The Aurora Singers have sung "The National Anthem" at the Nuggets arena and at Coors Field for the Rockies. The Singers provided the National Anthem and a mini-concert for the Aurora Relay Walk for Life" at Eaglecrest High School in August of 2012. The Singers performed for the Ronald McDonald House and various senior living facilities in 2017 and 2018.
The Aurora Singers always include free performances during the season, to show that the group's community efforts are not based on monetary success, hence the term "non-profit." The Aurora Singers take pride in sharing music with people of any economic status.
