Karen Donoghue, Director of Finance & Facilities
Start Date: 2019

With an extensive background in finances and operations, Karen Donoghue joined the team at LiffUp in November 2019 as the Director of Finance and Facilities. Karen's experience includes nearly eight years at Yampa Valley Bank and more than three years at Routt County Humane Society. Her education includes a B.S. from Colorado State University. Karen will oversee the financial stability and daily operation of the organization and ensure our facilities create a safe, efficient work environment.

Vie Rhodes , Director of Programs
Start Date: 2019

Vie Rhodes has accepted the position of Director of Programs in October 2019 and oversees and supports activities across the Donation Center, Thrift Store, Food Bank and Community Support. Vie joined LiftUp as Volunteer Coordinator in September 2018.

Cary Rentola, Director of Development & Marketing
Start Date: 2019

With nineteen years nonprofit experience, Cary Rentola accepted the position of Director of Development and Marketing joining the LiftUp team in early November 2019. She leads marketing, donor relations and fundraising initiatives. A Colorado native, Cary earned duel B.A's from the University of Northern Colorado along with an M.A. in Communications.

Darcy Owens-Trask, Director of People
Start Date: 2019

She oversees human resources and volunteer program management. Darcy is a nonprofit and human resources professional with more than 15 years experience in supporting people at work. Darcy has held a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) credential for 10 years, recently achieved a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) designation and holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado (UCCS) in Philosophy. She has taught workforce development, adult basic computer skills and human resources courses for Colorado Mountain College for many years.

Peggy Pagliaro, Thrift Store Manager
Start Date: 2017

Peggy oversees the management and day to day operation of the Thrift Store. Proceeds benefit our Food Banks and other programs.
