Camp Santa Maria offers summer camp programs, outdoor education and other opportunities for school groups and adult and youth retreats. Our goal is to provide environmental awareness and instill the value of environmental stewardship while creating a community and building self confidence.
At Camp Santa Maria living and being in nature provides wonderful outdoor recreation opportunities, a feeling of investment in the state of the environment, and a healthy lifestyle. Each part of camp life is designed to promote the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and service.
Our goal at Camp Santa Maria is to send youth and adults home feeling good about who they are, the relationships they have made and the skills they have gained.
More than a decade ago, the YMCA of Northern Colorado began offering residential camp with a 1-week session serving approximately 40 campers.
We currently serve over 1200 campers a summer.
In addition to our growth over the past years, the YMCA has extended our outreach to ensure all kids who wish to experience "sleep-away camp" can do so regardless of their financial abilities. The YMCA is committed to providing financial assistance to 35% of camp families annually.

YMCA youth sports emphasize the four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. In YMCA youth sports, everyone plays and with an emphasis on safety first, fair play, positive competition, family involvement and sports and fun for all.
