Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab rehabilitates injured, sick, and orphaned wild birds for release back to their appropriate, natural territory. Last year, WBRR moved and added a second location, allowing us to care for approximately 1,500 birds in 2020! Help us continue on strong in 2021.

Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab survives solely on the generous donations of our supporters. The organization does not receive Federal, State, or foundation based grants. Your donation is vital in sustaining Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab. The staff, board and most importantly, the birds thank you!
Mission
The mission of Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab is to rehabilitate injured, sick, and orphaned wild birds for release into an appropriate territory, and to provide rescue outreach and public education.
Background Statement
Founded in 1999 by a group of talented and caring Colorado citizens, the organization in its original carnation as Wild Bird Information and Rehabilitation of Denver, operated until 2014, saving tens of thousands of Colorado's wild birds. In 2017, Wild Bird Information and Rehabilitation of Denver reemerged as "Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab," keeping true to the original mission of rehabilitating injured, sick and orphaned wild Colorado birds. In spring 2020 Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab moved into a new rehab facility in Englewood and operates a pre-release/flight cage facility in Watkins, just east of Aurora, CO.
