At the Western Colorado Community Foundation, we believe that those who live here care deeply about the needs of our community and want to shape its future. This is why WCCF emphasizes the nurturing of long-term, personal connections - to bring people, partners, expertise, and resources together that amplify the impact of local generosity to improve lives now and for generations to come.
Our five core values underpin our work — and our promise — to amplify generosity across western Colorado; Generosity, Legacy, Integrity, Engagement, and Progress.
We are committed to keeping our thumb on the pulse of western Colorado communities to inform everything we do with insight and expertise, so we may skillfully guide donors in driving good further.
Designating your gift: WCCF manages six Local Community Funds (LCFs) that directly benefit the people of those communities: Delta Community Fund (DCF), Ouray County Community Fund (OCCF), San Juan Count Community Fund (SJCCF), Surface Creek Community Fund (SCCF), T.R.U.E Grants Fund, , and West Elk Community Fund (WECF). If you wish to support one of these, please clearly indicate the fund name when making your donation. Gifts without a designation will be directed to our unrestricted community impact efforts.
