Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation's (VBRF) mission is to assist the community and association members with need-based financial assistance, nonprofit support, education and disaster relief.
The Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation (VBRF) was established in 1996 to help promote community efforts for the Vail Board of Realtors®. VBRF supports community and association members with financial assistance, such as medical expenses. VBRF also contributes to nonprofits supporting the Eagle County community. Areas of support include, but aren't limited to, education, environment, youth development, hunger prevention, and housing and shelter. Nonprofit recipients include Bright Future Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and Vail Valley Salvation Army.
VBRF established its scholarship program in April 2018, which is open to all Eagle County residents who are enrolling in or returning to a college, university, or accredited academic institution of higher learning as a full-time student.
In 2020 the Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation has contributed approximately $77,500 to individuals in need, scholarship recipients, and area nonprofit organizations.
I want to thank you all for choosing me for the scholarship! It really helps me, especially this year in the weird time of COVID, to not worry about the spending on little things. It has been stressful to be in school during a pandemic, but I have been able to still have a lot of fun! Thanks again! Claire
Dear VBRF Foundation Board of Directors,
Thank you all so much for granting me this scholarship. It means a lot to me, and it will be put to good use. From your generosity, I will be able to take out an even smaller loan than I was expecting. This will help me stress less about money and focus more on studying biomechanical engineering at Colorado School of Mines. once again, thank you all so much! Brooklyn
