The mission of the Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation (VBRF) is to assist the community and association members with need based financial assistance, not-for-profit support, education and disaster relief.
The Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation (VBRF) was established in 1996 to help promote community efforts for the Vail Board of Realtors®. VBRF supports community and association members with financial assistance, such as medical expenses. VBRF also contributes to nonprofits supporting the Eagle County community. Areas of support include, but aren't limited to, education, environment, youth development, hunger prevention, and housing and shelter.
2018 has been an exciting and prolific year for VBRF. VBRF established its scholarship program in April, which is open to all Eagle County residents who are enrolling in or returning to a college, university or accredited academic institution of higher learning as a full time student. The Vail Board of REALTORS® is also a presenting sponsor of the Playhouse Project. Eight playhouses constructed by local builders are auctioned off to support St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley and the VBRF.
The Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation contributed $23,100 to area nonprofit organizations and individuals in need in 2017. In 2018, VBRF contributed 24,280.
