Evidence of Program's Success

For the last six decades, United Way of Larimer has impacted the lives of local children and families in Larimer County. During the last year, United Way of Larimer County proudly:

- Connected nearly 700 children in Thompson and Estes Park School districts to 1:1 literacy tutors to help them reach grade-level proficiency in reading through the Colorado Reading Corps program.

- Distributed more than $100,000 in childcare scholarships to help children start kindergarten ready to learn.

- Supported 5,500 youth through after-school and summer enrichment activities.

- Connected 5,200 individuals to local programs to increase income.

- Provided over 9,000 connections to community resources through United Way's 2-1-1 Information and Referral program.

- Distributed over $700,000 in grant awards to local nonprofit organizations to further work in the areas
of Youth & Education and Financial Stability.
