Life-changing educational exchange between U.S. and Brazil

US-Brazil Connect gave me the chance of a lifetime to meet 96 AMAZING Brazilian teenagers in their city. Twelve of these students were my team, and they taught me just as much as I taught them. These loving English students are filled with hope and optimism beyond measure. I brought back part of them with me, and I know I left part of my heart in Maceio, Alagoas, Brazil.
As Brazil and the U.S. become more important to each other, cultural understanding between the two is a profitable venture. These students gain English skills and confidence by building a relationship with a native speaker. The U.S. coaches gain cultural awareness and international experience. Both creating lasting friendships that transcend national borders.
