When a child receives a life-changing medical diagnosis, the wholeness of the family is threatened. A critical illness can turn a family's life upside down and simple, daily tasks can become overwhelming for parents caring for a sick child. There With Care works with hospitals and social workers to ensure critically ill children and their families receive basic needs and support, ensuring no family has to face their child’s medical crisis alone.
Our mission is to provide a wide range of thoughtful and fundamental services to families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.
Every year, more than 500,000 children face critical illness nationwide.
