Last year, The Salvation Army have given out $197,000 worth of assistance to 21,826 people in Loveland and Berthoud. Assistance include rent and homelessness prevention, clothing, diapers/baby items, hygiene kits, food and snacks, pet food, bus passes, Christmas gifts for children, summer camps for youth, and computer literacy classes for adults.

The Salvation Army Loveland Service Center helped eighty Loveland households with emergency rent assistance. It means that 122 adults, 84 children and 3 seniors could keep their homes and did not become homeless. The follow-up survey revealed that 90.5% of the households we served were still housed one year after receiving assistance.
