We are The Fix 🐾

Every year we see more cats in need: feral and stray litters... and also families unable to afford pet care. At The Feline Fix, we’re on the front lines:

  • Our full-service clinic in Commerce City serves all cats, be they free-roaming, stray or beloved family member.

  • We deliver lifesaving medical care, including low-cost spay and neuter services, vaccinations and microchips to underserved cats statewide.

  • Our dedicated foster-to-adopt program transforms the lives of vulnerable kittens, giving them a new start in a loving fur-ever home.

Our Results 🐾

  • Since opening in 2003, we’ve spayed/neutered approximately 54,000 cats, preventing unwanted litters so they can live healthier lives.

  • In 2024 alone we brought in and adopted out 150+ kittens, thanks to our foster-to-adopt initiative. 2025 has seen even more kittens arrive in need of help. Almost daily we are brought kittens found trapped in window wells, hiding under cars or abandoned in bushes... scared, frightened, alone. With us, they find something new: care, commitment and safety at last.

  • Our high-quality, affordable medical services are utilized by fellow animal rescues across Metro Denver and Colorado, ensuring they too can deliver on their important missions.

Your Gift Helps! 🐾

  • $30 = one week of kitten formula & foster care

  • $150 = emergency medical care and recovery for an injured cat.

  • $1,000 = Sponsor a full litter of kittens from intake to adoption, including necessary medical care, all foster care needs, food, a spay or neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip.

Mission

Mission: Championing the welfare of all cats — especially the most vulnerable — through effective, compassionate care.

Vision: A Colorado where every cat lives free from suffering and is valued by our community.

Background Statement

For more than two decades, The Feline Fix has championed the welfare of all cats via our primary focus areas: Spay/Neuter Services, Fostering & Adoption, and our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program.

The Feline Fix is one of Colorado's leading spay/neuter and vaccine resources for free-roaming and stray cats and kittens. To date, we have cared for approximately 54,000 cats at our clinic, preventing the births of hundreds of thousands of homeless cats in Metro Denver and across the Colorado Front Range.

Our foster and adoption program focuses on the most vulnerable kittens: those from feral cat colonies. Our incredible volunteers socialize these kittens, teaching them how to love and accept love so that they thrive when adopted into their forever homes.

The Feline Fix is a collaborative partner with the community and other animal welfare agencies. We are a proud member of the Metro Denver Animal Welfare Alliance (MDAWA) and serve as a trusted medical provider to many other local and regional cat rescues and shelters.

The Feline Fix also offers a free humane trap rental program to support our neighbors in their efforts to humanely control the free roaming cat populations in their area.
