Team SOS - Ride The Rockies 2018

Support the FIRST Team SOS as we ride in honor of SOS youth in The Denver Post's 33rd annual Ride the Rockies. Ride the Rockies is a week-long bicycle tour through Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Over the course of 6 days, 418 miles, and 25,935 feet of elevation, Team SOS will cycle to support underserved youth as they gear up for life with SOS. As a team, we have set a goal of $25,000 to bring life-changing opportunities to SOS youth across the country.

$125 - sponsors a full weekend of outdoor adventure for one child
$250 - sponsors a five-day learn to ski or snowboard experience for one child
$500 - sponsors a five-day learn to ski or snowboard experience for two children
$1,000 - sponsors a year of outdoor adventure & mentoring for one child

About SOS Outreach:
Here at SOS Outreach, we do one thing - help kids gear up for life. Grounded in outdoor experiences, our program ignites a passion for adventure, inspires the courage to try something new, and instills lifelong lessons and skills in our kids.

It starts with gearing up for all the mountains have to offer, but in these moments we're not just teaching kids to snowboard, ski, hike, climb, and camp. Our kids learn to connect with their peers, mentors and community, all of which help them discover an unknown side of themselves - a side that can do anything, especially overcome their circumstances and come out on top. Our goal is to inspire our kids with a sense of purpose, ultimately preparing them with the unique skills and strengths to contribute to the world beyond themselves.

Since its founding in 1993, SOS has transformed the lives of over 60,000 underserved youth. While providing outdoor recreation experiences for that number of youth is impressive, it's only a partial demonstration of our impact. Using a unique combination of outdoor adventure experiences, positive adult mentorship, and leadership development opportunities, SOS enables participants to unleash their potential to thrive. Serving nearly 5,000 youth each year, across 15 locations in 9 states, SOS provides opportunities for personal growth for the kids in our communities who need it most.
