Hello Friends and Family...
I will be traveling to Leadville, Colorado in August and competing in a 100 mile Mountain Bike race called the Leadville 100..... "The Race Across the Sky".
The Leadville 100 is the most difficult mountain bike race in North America with a starting altitude at 10,000 feet and over 14,000 feet of overall climbing, not to mention the 100 miles.
I am entered as a charity competitor to help raise money for the Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation.
The Legacy Foundation promotes a healthy lifestyle for the local youth of Leadville. And also provides a $1000 scholarship to every graduating senior from Lake Co. High School who chooses to go onto any form of higher education.
