Summit County Arts Council is a non-profit community of local artists. We enrich the cultural life of Summit County with our exhibits, fundraisers, art fairs and educational outreach. We offer free art experience on request to groups such as Scouts, adaptive skiers at the BOEC and Wounded Warriors.

This co-op gallery is a gem in Frisco, Colorado. Local artists - local art. The place to find a perfect hostess gift or a vacation memento. An incubator for emerging artists and a community mainstay that provides educational outreach and scholarships for advanced study in the arts to include the visual arts, music, performance art and graphics art.
Our mission: to expose our community to the wonderful world of art by teaching art to local students, supporting local artists with a co-op gallery and gathering Colorado artists to our county for two intimate art shows per year.
Summit County Arts Council (SCAC) was started in 1993 to support the visual arts in Summit County. In 1994, we initiated Meet the Artists (MTA), an art fair held in Breckenridge and Frisco. In 1996 SCAC began its Education Outreach Program, then called "Focus on the Child," which has grown from a single project program to the multi-organizational art instruction of today. In 2004, we opened the Arts Alive Gallery in La Cima Mall to provide an art exhibit option for local artists. In mid-2020 our gallery relocated to Frisco. Since moving we having expanded the types of art shown to include traditional painting, pottery, photography and jewelry. We have also added a visiting artist program and sponsor the Arts at Altitude art fair that has provided both Summit County and Colorado artists to display their talents. We are located at 101 E.
