SCD provides weekly CrossFit classes, at multiple locations, to all youth, but specifically targeting those without the resources to attend classes on their own.
In our first year, we've setup multiple class locations serving different types of youth in different environments; from transitional homes to traditional gyms, we have a place for kids to come workout.
One success story of note is from a member who was very unlikely to graduate from high school. Through SCD and the encouragment and mentorship he received, not only did he graduate, but we were able to send him to the Steve's Club national leadership camp. He is now training to start a career as a CrossFit trainer.
