Description

The Annual Concert is a community dance performance that SDT hosts, organizes and funds. Each year we invite the entire community to choreograph and perform in our Annual Concert. The Concert is our main fundraiser and our biggest expense as an organization. Any revenues from the Concert fund our current programs. Each year we have about 200 volunteers dance, choreograph and produces our concert and nearly 2,000 community members attend.

Description

Through our Scholarship Program we provide scholarships to community members in need of financial assistance for the purpose of attending dance classes. We provide scholarships that allow local community members to attend dance classes at local studios as well as more intensive programs and dance competitions around the country. SDT provides scholarships to people of all ages that can demonstrate they are in need of financial assistance.

Description

Through this program we offer various dance events that benefit the community-at-large - dancers and non-dancers alike. For example we bring dance curriculum into local schools, partner with local organizations such as Yampa Valley Autism, Horizon's and Casey's Pond to offer dance instruction, host the free Dance on Film series, offer Master Classes to the community, and periodically offer host free/affordable dance classes.
