The Chinook Fund, an organization that raises funds and collective consciousness to ensure change not charity. For the Fall 2021, Chinook Fund is operating a Grant-Making Committee (GMC) which will build upon previous experiences of GP Alumni- like me!
Our Grantees must engage in community organizing work that is constituent-led, community-wide, and that results in lasting effect. We prioritize grants to rural areas and communities of color, as these groups often have less access to funding than other groups. The majority of the grantees have budgets of less than $100,000. Because they are so small, these grants make a huge impact on their work.
