Background Statement
Sēb’s Recreation Center (SRC) was founded by Sēbian and Keithan Holiday. During a visit to a city recreational facility, Sēbian was disappointed there were no activities he could participate in. During a conversation with his dad, he shared a simple but powerful idea: to create a space where people with disabilities could enjoy recreation just like able-bodied individuals. The two of them took that idea to heart and began building a center where inclusion was the starting point.
SRC has become a welcoming place where individuals of all abilities can socialize, feel safe, and be a part of the community. Whether through accessible fitness equipment, board games, arts and crafts, or other engaging activities, the center offers something for everyone. Families and caregivers have found a space to connect, relax, and participate together.
Keeping this vision alive—and allowing it to grow—depends on the generosity of people like you. SRC is more than a facility; it’s a lifeline for individuals and families who have long been excluded from recreational spaces. With your support, we can expand our programming, upgrade essential equipment, and move toward a larger, more fully equipped center that reaches even more members of our community.
Every donation makes a real difference. It helps us offer joyful experiences to those who are too often overlooked. It ensures that families can play, create, and connect together. And most importantly, it keeps Sēbian’s dream alive—a dream where no one is left behind.
Please consider contributing to SRC today. Your gift helps build a future where everyone belongs, and where the answer to “What can I do here?” is always: “Plenty.”
