The mission of Sculpture Evergreen is to maintain a program of art acquisition to beautify public buildings and open spaces in the mountain area of Jefferson County and encourage the expression and appreciation of art through education and other public activities and programs.

The 2018-2019 Evergreen Sculpture Walk consists of 17 pieces of sculpture that were selected through a national competition and are located at sites throughout the Evergreen community. The sculptures will remain on display for one year and are available for viewing 24/7 by all individuals at no cost. All sculptures are eligible for the Sternberg Award for Excellence, chosen by a specially selected juror, and the Peoples' Choice award, selecteed by winning the majority of votes received from ballot responders. Ballots are availble in our Sculpture Walk brochure, available at strategic locations in Evergreen.

Sculpture Evergreen has purchased and permanently placed 33 sculptures in Evergreen, Colordo. The sulptures are placed at locations such as the Library,the recreation centers, schools, Hospice, the Fire Department, Parks, and various other public and business spaces. All sculptures are available for viewing by all individuals 24/7.
The 33 sculptures in the permanent collection were acquired through donations from our major supporters. Evergreen is not an incorporated city and therefore there are no public funds avialable to support our activities. All suppot comes from private donors, Grants from organizations such as SCFD, fund raising events and commission on sales of Sculpure Walk Art.
