Founded in 2010, SOAR is built on the premise that we should "expect more" from our public schools. SOAR is a public elementary charter school committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities to students in Far Northeast Denver. SOAR offers an innovative, holistic approach to education that includes an academically engaging curriculum, a focus on the development of social and emotional competencies and a deep commitment to the arts.

SOAR prides itself on the quality, intensity, and quantity of differentiated professional development offered to teachers. We have yet to find a traditional or charter school that invests as much time, energy, and resources into its staff.

Description

We believe in developing our future school leaders from within the organization. We would love to provide future school leaders with the opportunity to have a year of hands-on training while not focused on doing another full time job in order to have them be fully prepared for their new job responsibilities. Costs for this program would be approximately $75,000.
