  • San Luis Valley Animal Welfare Society
    The SLVAWS) is an all volunteer, no-kill, 501C3 animal rescue organization serving the impoverished San Luis Valley. We rescue and rehabilitate homeless and unwanted animals from the SLV and adopt them to good homes. We work on animal abuse cases. We operate the SLV Animal Hotline (719-587-WOOF)
  • San Luis Valley Local Foods Coalition
    In fostering a local foods system, the LFC is vitalizing farmers, the economy, and the environment. We are reconnecting eaters with the seed, soil, farmer, and harvest. We are increasing access to the bounty of the San Luis Valley Harvest and weaving together the fabric of community - with you!
  • Rio Grande Hospital
    Dedicated to provide a compassionate and caring environment for patients, visitors and staff while delivering the highest quality care to the San Luis Valley communities.
  • Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc.
    As an integral part of the communities it serves, VWHS provides primary healthcare to some of Colorado's most vulnerable communities. Access is open to all, with special consideration for underserved populations. VWHS is also a designated Enterprise Zone in Alamosa and Fremont Counties, which allows contribution tax credits for donations.
