Some nonprofits in our community
  • Energy Resource Center
Energy Resource Center is making homes safe, warm and efficient by providing energy efficiencies to income-qualified homes at NO cost to the homeowner or renter. We are looking for partners that want to help us save an average of 25% on every home we serve. No one else is doing what we do!
  • Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc.
As an integral part of the communities it serves, VWHS provides primary healthcare to some of Colorado's most vulnerable communities. Access is open to all, with special consideration for underserved populations. VWHS is also a designated Enterprise Zone in Alamosa and Fremont Counties, which allows contribution tax credits for donations.
  • Children's Garden Early Learning Center
At the Children's Garden we believe early child learning is an investment in our children and our future! We serve children from all over the San Luis Valley and from all economic backgrounds. About 90% of our students come from low income families and with your help they are able to thrive and excel not only in school but in their lives. Donations of $100 or more may be eligible for the State of Colorado Education Tax Credit (50%).
  • San Luis Valley Ecosystem Council
The San Luis Valley Ecosystem Council is a Public Lands Advocacy Organization located in south-central Colorado at the headwaters of the Rio Grande, surrounded by some of the wildest lands that are left in the lower 48 states. We provide public comment to provide landscape level protection (wildlife corridors, watersheds, biodiversity) on behalf of the American Public.
