Details: UPDATE: MATCH ACHIEVED! As of July 19th, the full match has been met! We have a generous matching gift of $10,000 from Gary & Kathryn Dudley, who believe so much in the mission of the SAME Food Truck they wanted to inspire others to give. The next $10,000 donated to this exciting program will be matched dollar for dollar by the Dudleys in hopes that more people will be able to have access to healthy food, regardless of ability to pay.

Summary

So All May Eat (SAME) Cafe has been feeding everyone, regardless of ability to pay, for more than 12 years on East Colfax and it is time to make the mission mobile!

The SAME Food Truck will spend 1/2 the time working in food deserts and with food justice organizations to deliver healthy, delicious food to people experiencing food insecurity and 1/2 the time delivering our amazing food and mission to people who would love to join the cause of fighting hunger one delicious plate of healthy food at a time.

We are well on our way to raising the $121,900 to purchase and operate a SAME Food Truck in 2019! The CoBiz Cares Foundation gave a $5,000 catalyst gift this spring. This summer we received $15,000 from the Buck Family Foundation, a $10,000 matching gift from Kathryn & Gary Dudley, matched by $5,000 from Nancy Grandys-Jones and $5,000 from Tim Pfeifer, $1,000 from Joe Woodward and gifts from many other friends of SAME Cafe! Now with a $50,000 grant in October from The Colorado Health Foundation, we are closing in on the goal!
