Rocky Mountain Youth Sports

For 9 years, Rocky Mountain Youth Sports has made a positive impact on the lives of thousands of young people in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming. There are dozens of stories of young athletes whose lives have been changed due in part to their participation in our programs. We often hear stories of young athletes who have been more successful at school, showed greater interest in philanthropic activities, and been more civic minded, thanks in part to the lessons they have learned from their coaches and participation in youth basketball. Organizationally, our goal is to expand our programs and reach more youth providing them with the opportunity to develop athletic skills and learn lessons that are valuable as part of their overall development. Our hope is that we can provide children and young adults with the tools they need to be successful beyond sports. One of our long range goals is to build a facility that can be used for training and as a safe place where area youth can develop their basketball skills. Your donation to Rocky Mountain Youth Sports will help offset costs to participating families and will help us offer quality programming at a reasonable cost. One of our goals is that no player who wishes to participate on a Fever team or at a Fever camp is denied that opportunity based on financial need. Please consider a financial donation to our organization so that we can continue providing quality programs at an affordable cost to our families.

Rocky Mountain Fever Club Basketball Competitive Teams

Recreation & Sports

Adolescents/Youth (13-19 years)
Children (4-12 years)

Rocky Mountain Youth Sports, parent organization to the Rocky Mountain Fever Basketball Club, founded in 2008, offers competitive basketball teams throughout the year. Our organization hosts tryouts three times each year in the spring, early fall, and winter. We organize competitive teams that compete against other competitive basketball programs locally, regionally, and nationally.

Evidence of Program's Success

Rocky Mountain Youth Sports (RMYS) has helped thousands of northern Colorado youth develop basketball skills and learn important life lessons that will help them as adults. The number of teams organized continues to grow each year. Numerous families participate on our competitive team for multiple years. We saw a 56.6% increase in participation between 2016 and 2017. Our demand exceeds our ability to provide programs for the athletes who would like to participate in our program.
