Background Statement

The Ralston PTA was founded in 1946 and has a rich history of working closely with the school to understand the needs and provide the resources the school is lacking. We are a member of the National PTA and strive to utilize their support and resources in implementing programs in our school. Our Board is comprised or a President, a Vice President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, a Ways and Means Chair and a Parliamentary Chair. Ralston's Principal also participates in our monthly meetings. The PTA holds public meetings monthly to provide updates on PTA programs and solicit community involvement and input. With approximately 40 PTA committees, we have a large number of volunteers who work closely with the board to implement highly successful programs.
