REDi Corporation, thanks to numerous donors, has filled the gap necessary to acquire the furniture and provide the necessary household items for our 50 unit apartment complex serving the chronically homeless. We are in the process of leasing up the units.

Testimonials

"I have lived here at REDI V for almost 16 years now. My apartment is my home and my neighbors are
like family. We have a wonderful Service Coordinator who comes and helps with paper work and also
plans activities for us to enjoy together in our great community room. The property provides gifts for
each resident at the holidays and a large BBQ and meal at 4 th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas that I
look forward to each year. The REDIs are unique because they are a community instead of just an
apartment building. As neighbors we spend time together, and it makes you feel like you are not alone.
The management cares about the fact that we have mental illness and need extra support. If it weren't
for the REDI's I might be on the streets. They make our rent affordable, and I'm so grateful to be living
here."

Mission

To provide workforce housing and housing for persons with mental health issues, substance use disorders and special needs with affordable housing and services specifically designed to meet their physical, social, and psychological needs, and to promote their health, security and happiness.

Background Statement

In 1978 REDI began providing affordable housing for the mental health clients of Denver Health and Hospitals (DHH). We started by finding suitable housing opportunities and providing the necessary vouchers to make them affordable. Well Power, the successor entity to DHH, provides services to clients they refer. We have partnered with Well Power for over 30 years.

In 1980 REDI started buying and renovating properties. Today, REDI Corporation remains committed to it's mission and is proud it has acquired and developed 9 properties which collectively provide homes to over 200 residents.

In the 1990’s REDI began providing workforce housing for the community. This might include, for example, people just starting out as a teacher or police person along with people employed by the service industry whether it be a nurses’ aide or a clerk who need affordable housing to make ends meet.

REDI has partnered with Ross Management to provide property management services. They have a long history of providing management of tax credit, affordable and service enriched housing.
